Drew Lingle is a Legislative Assistant for United States Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND). In his role, he supports Senator Cramer’s work as a member of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee and his position as the Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Transportation and Infrastructure. Drew also handles the agriculture and energy portfolios where he works with a broad spectrum of stakeholders and federal agencies to advance policy on behalf of North Dakota.
North Dakota’s economy is driven by agriculture and energy, and Drew is blessed to be able to help advance policy which strengthens his home state. Since joining the office of Senator Cramer, Drew assisted in passing the largest surface transportation reauthorization in history, which many consider to be the cornerstone of the historic Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act – otherwise known as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Drew’s recent work includes assisting Senator Cramer in his fight against federal overreach on issues related to the Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, Endangered Species Act, Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act, and the National Environmental Policy Act.
A native of Bismarck, North Dakota, Drew attended Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM) and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in History in 2018. During his time at MSUM, Drew was also an All-Conference Defensive End on their NCAA Division II football team. Drew and his wife Madison reside in Arlington, Virginia.
