Cassie Bladow is President & CEO of the U.S. Beet Sugar Association. She works to advance the unified objectives of America’s sugarbeet cooperatives. Cassie provides leadership in navigating issues of importance to the nine manufactures of beet sugar in the U.S., which operate 21 processing facilities. She previously served the association as director of government affairs, then vice president. She currently serves as Chair of the industry-wide American Sugar Alliance.

Cassie has served as an advocate for agriculture throughout her career. Prior to rejoining the U.S. Beet Sugar Association, she served as chief of staff for Senator John Hoeven. Through various roles on Senator Hoeven’s staff, she worked to represent the interests of constituents in North Dakota. She played a crucial role in developing policy for farmers and ranchers through two Farm Bills and Senator Hoeven’s role on the Senate Agriculture Appropriations Subcommittee.

Cassie resides in northern Virginia with her husband, Shaun, and son, Theodore. She grew up on a sugarbeet farm in northwestern Minnesota, which her family still operates. She graduated from North Dakota State University.
