Tom Sell is the GOP nominee for Congress in Texas’ 19th Congressional District.

Tom is the founder and manager of Combest, Sell & Associates, a firm focused on advocating for U.S. farm and ranch families, Main Street businesses that depend upon agriculture, and rural America, including the American Sugar Alliance.

Prior to founding CS&A, Tom served as Deputy Staff Director for the House Committee on Agriculture, where he was instrumental in crafting the 2002 Farm Bill and major improvements to crop insurance under the Agricultural Risk Protection Act of 2000.

He also served in the President George W. Bush Administration, including on the transition team in 2000.

Tom earned both his undergraduate degree in agricultural economics and his law degree at Texas Tech University.  He is a member of the Texas State Bar and is active with the Davis College of Agriculture at Texas Tech.

Tom is married to his college sweetheart, Kyla, and they have four grown children — Noah, Luke, Daniel and Naomi.  Noah is an officer in the United States Army and he and his wife, Avery, recently had a son, Micah James, making Tom and Kyla grandparents for the first time.  Tom is actively engaged in his family farm and ranch alongside his 85-year old dad, George.
