Carly Esser McLean

Republican Professional Staff
Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition & Forestry

Carley Esser McLean currently serves as professional staff for the U.S. Senate Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Committee under Chairman John Boozman of Arkansas. She leads the Title I commodity programs, disaster programs, and crop insurance portfolios.

Formerly, she was the senior legislative assistant for Missouri Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler.

Other experience in the industry includes the U.S. Grains Council in their Global Strategies department, a stint with U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and extensive involvement with the National FFA Organization and Agriculture Future of America (AFA) organizations.

McLean graduated with a degree in Agricultural Education from the University of Missouri where she was able to work with agriculturalists across her home state.
