Kyle Varner is a Senior Professional Staff member for Ranking Member Amy Klobuchar on the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry where he handles agricultural trade and credit policy. He has served on the Committee since 2013 and worked on the development of the 2014 and 2018 Farm Bills. Kyle grew up on his family’s diversified row crop and livestock farm in central Michigan and earned his bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University where he focused on agriculture and natural resource policy.
