American Sugar Alliance Statement on the Securing Agriculture’s Workforce Act

The American Sugar Alliance issued the following statement on the Securing Agriculture’s Workforce Act of 2026:

“We are grateful that Chairman GT Thompson has assembled a bipartisan coalition to modernize the H-2A visa program and make it truly workable for farmers. The Securing Agriculture’s Workforce Act of 2026 is a step in the right direction to ensure that American sugarbeet and sugarcane farmers can more securely and efficiently access a reliable agricultural workforce.”
